Not only is AJ Norris one of our fabulous attending (and returning) authors, but she also runs Magical Pages Book Blog with M. Rain Ranalli. Since she is going to be joining us next week at #RustCity17, she wanted to get to know her fellow authors a little better by asking them a few questions. Their answers might surprise you, so make sure you see what Nancy Northcott, Susana Ellis, Suzanne Sabol, Stephen Osborne, Evan Heuker, Roselynn Cannes, Donna MacMeans, Jillian David, Kathy Lyons, Ann Lawson / Becca Johnson, Caroline Warfield, Linda Bradley, and Sara Dobie Bauer.
Every book convention must have authors. There’s no question about it and I am working hard to ensure that we not only have a ton of fun people to hang out with, but there’s a wide range of genre talent as well. I know many readers tend to stick with their preferred genres, and there’s nothing wrong with that; but you never know what you’ll find, what you’ll like, until you take a leap of faith.
With that in mind, let me introduce you to two more fabulous authors who will be taking the plunge with me and coming to Rust City 2017! Make sure you keep an eye out as more authors are announced!
A USA Today Bestseller, JADE LEE has been scripting love stories since she first picked up a set of paper dolls. Ball gowns and rakish lords caught her attention early (thank you Georgette Heyer), and her fascination with historical romance began. Author of more than 26 regency romances, Jade has a gift for creating a lively world, witty dialogue, and hot, sexy humor.
KATHY LYONS is Jade’s wild, adventurous half. A lover of all things fantastical, Kathy spent much of her childhood in Narnia, Middle Earth, Amber, and Earthsea. There is nothing she adores more than turning an ordinary day into something magical, which is what happens in all her paranormal romances. And what’s more magical that hot bear-shifter men? Jade and Kathy have won several industry awards, including the Prism—Best of the Best, Romantic Times Reviewer’s Choice, and Fresh Fiction’s Steamiest Read. Even though Kathy (and Jade) have written over 50 romance novels, she’s just getting started.
Melanie Harlow likes her martinis dry, her heels high, and her history with the naughty bits left in. Her stories are inspired by a sense of place, an appreciation for the past, and unexpected pleasures in life—especially the romantic kind. She lifts her glass to readers and writers from her home near Detroit, MI, where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
